Alberto started his career in the development of underwater oil and gas field for ENI, and has spent 11 years in Tokyo advising and leading 16 GW-strong J-Powers moves in the deregulated electricity generation sector worldwide, reaching today's equity portfolio of some 3,000 MW in the USA and South East Asia. During that period Alberto also worked closely with European hedge funds, including The Children's Investment Fund, to unlock the value of Japanese equities. His Italian activities has seen him hold the position of VP of International Development for Enelpower (ENEL) and, prior to joining Amplio, as CEO of Archimedes Srl, a company focused on the development of and investment in solar photovoltaic power plants in Italy. Alberto is a mechanical engineer and holds an MBA degree from the Sloan School of Management at MIT, Boston.
